For 24 long years, this magnificent Mortlach matured in a single former Sherry Butt - distilled on May 14, 1991, bottled by Signatory on December 2, 2015 in the Cask Strength Collection with an alcohol content of a hefty 55.5% vol. on only 587 bottles.

Aroma: clearly the sherry barrel influence - juicy dried fruits and dark berries, in addition a strong portion of malt and brown cane sugar
Taste: full and rich in flavor - again the dried fruit and the ripe berries, in addition to notes of citrus fruits and ripe autumn apples - slightly spicy in the background
Departure: very long on the finish - carried by the fruit notes, to now surprisingly cocoa and fresh pastries
