At 36, this is one of the oldest bottlings of the renowned independent bottler Wemyss.
A Caol Ila from an exBourbon Hogshead distilled in 1981, Wemyss selected for this bottling and filled the barrel in 2017 to just 274 bottles.

Aroma: at the beginning surprisingly fresh with citrus and lime, then develop oily aromas, buttered scallops, menthol and gentle smoke of burning wood
Taste: mouth-filling and heavy - long oily, then slightly mineral, then spicy meatloaf with salt and coriander, with herb sauce with citrus notes and roasted, green chili peppers with sea salt
Finish: long finish with mild and glowing coals
