In 1997, Tobermory launched the production of the peated version of their single malt whiskey named Ledaig.

Aroma: black pepper and smoke, with aromas of sweet dessert wine and juicy dried fruits - followed by citrus fruits, toffee and delicate notes of ginger and cloves
Taste: a mouth-filling sweetness, then again the citrus fruits, to red berries and grapes - above all sweet toffee and dark chocolate - then an explosion of black pepper and campfire ash
Departure: long finish, again the pepper and the smoke - fruity notes float behind
