For 30 long years, this single grain whiskey from the already closed Grain Distillery Dumbarton matured in a refill exBourbon barrel - distilled in March 1987, bottled in March 2017 to only 344 bottles.

Aroma: fresh coconut and milk chocolate at the beginning - then strong aromas of nougat and hazelnuts, followed by ripe and overripe red apples
Taste: thick syrup and cream brulee, then spicier with hints of allspice anise and cardamom - reminiscent of gingerbread and speculoos
Finish: long finish - fruity, again the red apples, a lot of vanilla and again the spicy tones
