It is rare to find single-barreled bottlings of this quality from the Braeval distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Wemyss chose an exBourbon barrel from 1994 for this single-cask bottling - the Single Malt whiskey matured for 21 years, then in 2016 it was bottled to 255 bottles. Aroma: Lemonade, orange glaze, fruit gum and white chocolate in abundance - behind it clearly liquid honey and vanilla Taste: Tartlets filled with kumquat and papaya, then balsa wood, sawdust and some beeswax Finish: sweet wood notes followed by ice cream with caramel pieces
