A Bunnahabhain from an exSherry Puncheon - there are not many bottlings of this type of distillery - and even more rare in this quality!
The single malt whiskey matured for 14 years before Wemyss bottled the cask in just 771 bottles in 2016.

Aroma: strong and intense - clearly grilled marinade with dates, beet syrup and cinnamon, followed by apple cider vinegar, glazed shallots and - attention - coke, oranges and cloves
Taste: Almost fleshy, very spicy and lush - very complex and complex, first plum jam, then breaded kottelets! - yet supple with Islay-typical traces
Finish: long finish with sweet smoke and clearly walnuts
