The Highlander Ardmore with its elegant smoky notes was bottled here as 14-year-old single malt whiskey by Douglas Laing.
195 bottles produced the refill barrel.

Aroma: reminiscent of gauze bandages and iodine on a hospital ward !! plus a salty smokiness, some vanilla and a sweet BBQ style
Taste: smoked bacon and toasted toast, then sweet notes of campfire ash and citrus fruit
Finish: long finish, still smoky, the bacon is still there - slightly sweet character of caramel and butterscotch
