Under the name Single Minded, Douglas Laing fills young to medium-old single malt whiskeys in small batches.
Only two to four barrels are selected and bottled for these bottlings.
This 7 year old Dailuaine comes from two former Sherry Butts.
Aroma: Sweet on the nose in the beginning, gentle, spicy aromas with traces of leather and marzipan
Taste: rich and a pleasant mouthfeel with distinct notes of candied fruits and chocolate pralines
Finish: mid-length finish, still sweet with notes of tobacco, mocha and orange
Distilled: November 2005
Bottled: September 2013
