Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before. Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey. For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.
Bruichladdich DNA - 32 years 1977/2010 For this bottling some of the oldest, still available vintages of the distillery were used. A cuvée from barrels of the year 1977.
