Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries.
Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.
The 18-year-old has very nice flavors of creamy caramel toffee, ripe fruit and smoke.
In the taste complex, wonderful fruit and chocolate notes, to harmonize beautifully the light smoky notes.
The finish is long and very well balanced.
