Exclusive bottling of just 650 bottles for the Craigellachie Hotel in Speyside, Scotland.
The Double Single features a barrel of 12-year-old American Highland Single Malts (located near Brora!) And a barrel of 15-year-old single grain whiskey from the already decommissioned great Cambus distillery.
Only these two barrels gave 650 bottles "The Double Single"
All Compass Box fillings are not cool filtered and have no dyes.
This whiskey really turns the idea of blending on its head!
The Grain Whiskey is here the undisputed star, it envelops the wonderful malt with its rich, sweet vanilla flavors.
