Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.

Bowmore 12 years 43% vol. 0,2l The 12-year-old comes to about 70% from bourbon barrels and about 30% from sherry casks. The typical smokes of the Bowmore harmonize beautifully with the aroma and sweetness of Heidehonig.
Bowmore 15 years 43% vol. 0,2l The 15-year-old has seductive aromas of leather, sweetmeat wheat grains, nuts and Oloroso sherry. A round, rich bouquet with few salt and peat notes. The barrel proportions are about 70% bourbon barrel and 30% sherry barrel.
Bowmore 17 years 43% vol. 0,2l The 17-year-old is a very balanced malt with an aroma of exotic fruits and the Islay-typical peat smoke - an incredibly powerful malt. The barrel proportions are about 70% bourbon barrel and 30% sherry barrel.
