Why is the Aberfeldy Distillery in the middle of the picturesque Perthshire Highlands?
A special water source was a strong argument of the founders Tommy and John Alexander Dewar.

A small river flows into the Tay near the Whisky Distillery, which is not only known for its excellent water quality, but also for its (at least fabulous) gold deposits is known.

This lover bottling from the Exceptional Cask Series, selected by Malt Master Stephanie Macleod, is an exceptional Single Malt Whisky.
After initial maturation in former Bourbon Casks, the Highlanders built the Single Malt for an additional 22 months in former Sherry Casks, to which it owes its enjoyment to the mahogany tone.

The Whisky, limited to 516 bottles, is bursting with fruity notes, spicy, creamy vanilla and black tea in the nose and palate and cocoa.
