Today there are not even a handful of distilleries in the small town on the Kintyre Peninsula, including Glen Scotia! Gordon & MacPhail selected this 19-year old single malt whisky, matured in a refilled American Hogshead for the Connoisseurs Choice range. Distilled in 2000, bottled on July 4, 2019 at 222 bottles - without chill filtration and without the addition of colorants.
Nose: waxy lemons, soft vanilla and ripe pears Taste: creamy in taste, plain white chocolate, ripe bananas and violets Finish: Spicy on the finish - again the fruits and vanilla
