Springbank's sixth edition of the 25-year-old - bottled in 2019, matured exclusively in former sherry casks.
Only 104 bottles found their way to Germany!
Aroma: wet linen and flint - then molasses and toffee, marzipan, nougat and roasted oak
Taste: very well balanced with notes of ripe forest fruits, roasted marshmallows, pecan and walnuts - in the background cotton candy, butterscotch and orange peel
Departure: on leaving oily and fruity, again molasses, tobacco leaves, citrus fruits - plus the typical Springbank salt note
Circulation: 1,200 bottles (104 for Germany)
