Distilled in the Scottish Speyside at Miltonduff - a rare single cask bottling from Miltonduff's short, experimental time with Lomond stills. Distilled on June 5, 1979, the single malt whiskey aged over 38 years in an exBourbon barrel until October 13, 2017, then the independent bottler Signatory filled the barrel to only 138 bottles.
Aroma: nutty aromas, plus tobacco and spicy oak - followed by aromas of savory biscuits and fresh cake Taste: oily mouthfeel, soft, again the nuts and the pastry, with soft honey and coffee Departure: long finish with notes of barley and vanilla, spicy oak and strawberries
