Exclusive single cask bottling from the Scottish Speyside distilleryBenriach. Distilled on 18.12.1986, this single malt whiskey matured for over 29 years in a former Oloroso sherry butt, then in June 2016 Benriach filled the cask with only 568 bottles.
Aroma: intense aromas of ripe plums and dried figs - sweeping over all sweet BBQ smoke Taste: thick, sweet dates and dark orange marmalade, elegantly paired with sweet peat smoke and fresh cigars - behind them ground coffee and cocoa beans Finish: very long and spicy finish, the fruits come back and the peat smoke is present for a long time
