Benriach selected only a single barrel for this bottling of a 10-year-old single malt. Distilled on 07.12.2005, the single malt whiskey first matured in exBourbon barrels and then received a second ripening in a former Madeira hogshead, bottled in August 2016 to only 278 bottles. Aroma: sweet herbs and spicy oak go hand in hand, followed by ripe cantaloupe melon and golden sultanas Taste: sweet fruit salad with syrup and roasted oak, with ripe, yellow pears and Golden Delicious apples - soft cinnamon notes in the background Finish: long, slightly sweet finish, fruits, oak and syrup harmoniously match each other
