Half a decade, this single grain whiskey matured in the Scottish Invergordon distillery, distilled in March 1966 and bottled in June 2016 at only 261 bottles by Douglas Laing as a single barrel bottling in the XOP series.
Aroma: one smells old and imagined in the warehouse of the distillery - then sweet, ripe autumn fruits and cereals follow
Taste: now many fruits and candies - sugar and spicy notes, with some oak
Finish: the candies again, plus barley sugar and warm-spicy tones
