For 12 years, this Port Charlotte matured in a former Pomerol wine barrel

Distilled in the year of the reopening of the distillery Bruichladdich 2001.
Significantly smoky notes, coupled with a lot of fruit due to maturation in the exPomerol barrel

Aroma: smoke and some sea salt, then caramel and milk chocolate
Taste: full and strong in the taste with intense notes of pepper and smoke, one tastes clearly the proximity of the distillery to the sea - then follows a lot of summer fruit - especially the sweetness of plums
Departure: a very long and smoky finish, which is somewhat softened by the sweetness of the wine barrel - now a touch of dry fruit
