Product information "Probably Speyside Distillery's Finest 50 Year Old 1964/2014 Douglas Laing 100th Anniversary XOP 40.5% vol. 0,7l"
The independent bottler Douglas Laing celebrated 2014 the 100th birthday of company founder Fred Douglas Laing.
For the occasion, the Scottish bottler chose a true gem - a 50-year-old single malt whiskey from Scotland's Speyside, arguably the finest distillery.
Unfortunately for legal reasons, the name of the distillery should not be mentioned - in Scotland they call many Glen first class (maybe this hint helps ...).

Aroma: full and round in the aroma with many ripe fruits, with some smoke, fruit cake and syrup
Taste: softer in taste than the aroma suggests - such as lightly sugared oak, soft toffee - oily and syrupy - very pleasant mouthfeel
Finish: dry on the finish with hints of pepper, a lot of vanilla and orange - then espresso and spicy notes

Edition: 252 bottles with individual numbering
