Already in 1983, the gates of the distillery on the Scottish Isle of Hebrides Islay closed forever, the still in stock barrels are less and less - but also older!
Limited single-barrel bottling with an edition of 162 bottles.
Aroma: elegant with a sweet, earthy aroma, clear seagrass, old boat oil and sea salt
Taste: very well balanced - peat smoke, citrus fruit, barley and hot milk chocolate
Departure: long finish with a sweet-smoky character, again sea salt and an earthy mushroom note
