A Bunnahabhain, as from another star!

Aroma: like a wooden boathouse full of crates and old ropes with a salt crust, with smoldering coals on the grate - with some water liquorice and blackcurrant comes to the fore, in the background light floral aromas, like crushed geranium leaves
Taste: initially tart and salty, then softer with notes of dried figs and dates, caramelized almonds and roasted walnuts with a drop of syrup
Finish: tingling with gentle smoke that lingers on the palate

The Wemyss bottlings rarely reveal the distilleries that make or are part of their blends.
For Wemyss it is more important that the name of the bottling gives an indication of the taste.
