The not so well-known Speyside distillery Glentauchers is already considered an insider tip.
This 17-year-old single-barrel bottling matured in an exBourbon barrel - only 194 bottles were bottled.

Aroma: clearly vanilla, honey and apricot - in the background a little toffee
Taste: very powerful, but very velvety, again clearly vanilla and honey, with a slight hint of oak, some pineapple and banana
Finish: very long finish, lots of sweetness and fruit, a little oak - with a little water, the sweetness becomes more pronounced
