A 15-year-old Ben Nevis from Douglas Laing's Director's Cut series - bottled a single sherry butt for this bottling.
Aroma: very elegant, gentle spicy aromas - very round and balanced with distinct aromas of dark, ripe fruits (clearly the influence of the sherry-barrel) - in addition there are traces of honey
Taste: again the elegant spicy notes, in addition to a light ginger note, citrus and caramel and a sweet, juicy barley touch
Departure: The finish is gentle and soft, now comes the sweet barley malt to light - in the background, camphor and toffee notes, sweet vanilla and syrup
