Founded in Speyside in 1898, Dallas Dhu was shut down in 1983.
Today there is a museum in the old buildings.
Dallas Dhu produced a complex malt reminiscent of roasted coffee.
The whiskey is one of the best malts in this region of Scotland and perhaps the 10 best in the country.

Aroma: fruity flavors, especially pear, peaches and nectarines, traces of cut grass and malted barley - in the background you can recognize espresso
Taste: rich and full of flavor - here again the nectarines, with vanilla fudge and exotic fruits, combined with a hint of wood smoke
Finish: very nice, long finish with a slightly peppery note
