Product information "Balblair 1969/2008 Gordon & MacPhail 43% vol. 0,7l"
Gordon & MacPhail is probably the most important independent bottler in Scotland.
Gordon & MacPhail has vast stocks of barrels from almost all distilleries, the stored vintages date back to the 30s.
The most famous series by Gordon & MacPhail is the Connoisseurs Choice with over 40 different bottlings.
There is also a Cask Strength series and bottlings under the name Spirit of Scotland and Speymalt.
One thing all the bottlings have in common is the very high, excellent quality.

Balblair
The first distillery named Balblair was built in 1790 in the northern Highlands.
This distillery no longer exists, at the same place in 1872, the current distillery was built.
Balblair was long owned by Allied Domecq, who closed the distillery in 1996 and sold to Inver House Distillers.
Since 1998 Balblair is back in operation.

The malt distilled here is pleasantly light and dry.
