Mackmyra Svensk Whisky was founded in 1999 by eight whiskey enthusiasts in Valbo, Sweden.
It is the first and so far only whiskey distillery in Scandinavia.
After initial difficulties, the distillery developed magnificently and today the new distillate flows daily from the copper stills into the barrels.
Mackmyra procures all raw materials needed for production from Sweden.
Special - 04 - Double Dip Bourbon
First, this whiskey matured in typical American ex-Bourbon barrels before being transferred to smaller, 30-liter barrels (also ex Bourbon).
The result is a fresh and fruity whiskey with a spicy sweetness and hints of pear and caramel, as well as vanilla.
Mackmyra is free of dyes and not cool filtered.
