Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before.
Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey.
For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.
Manzanilla Sherry Cask
For 10 years, this malt matured in selected Spanish Manzanilla sherry casks.
The result is a dry, light malt with honey yellow color and the aromas of honey, macadamia nut and green apple!
Limited edition of 6,000 bottles with individual numbering!
