Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before.
Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey.
For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.
Limited special bottling in honor of the golf club Carnoustie
Matured for 14 years in the Bourbon barrel, the malt was finished in barrels of the "Chateau Haut Brion".
Thus, the malt took over the complex, elegant, balanced and powerful bouquet of the most expensive and prestigious wine of France!
Very nice aromas of red and black cherries, plums, ginger, spices and traces of dates.
Edition: 12,000 bottles - single numbering
