The independent bottler Ian MacLeod was founded in 1933 and is today one of the four largest independents, own stocks make it possible to come up with very interesting bottlings.
This individual cask bottling in ideal drinking strength (46% vol.) Contains a Lagavulin, which, in contrast to the original bottling, is neither cold-filtered (non-chillfiltered), nor contains dyes.
A bourbon barrel of excellent quality was selected.
The malt has a strong smoking sound, scent of seaweed.
In the finish it is powerful and peaty with a fine salt tone.
