Amarone Wine Cask - Finish
After a maturation period of more than 8 years in traditional oak barrels, this malt was bottled for a second maturation for 9 months in the finest "Amarone wine barrels".
Amarone wine is one of the most popular Italian wines, produced in the Verona region.
The second ripening in the 225 liter wine barrels gave the whiskey a beautiful deep red bronze color and a fascinating rich aroma and taste.
Beautiful aromas of dark chocolate and cherry liqueur.
In the taste complex, spicy with oak tones and traces of dark fruits.
A very nice long and warm finish.
