Gordon & MacPhail is probably the most important independent bottler in Scotland.
Gordon & MacPhail has vast stocks of barrels from almost all distilleries, the stored vintages date back to the 30s.
The most famous series by Gordon & MacPhail is the Connoisseurs Choice with over 40 different bottlings.
There is also a Cask Strength series and bottlings under the name Spirit of Scotland and Speymalt.
One thing all the bottlings have in common is the very high, excellent quality.
Craigellachie
Many dazzlers use extensively the whiskey of this distillery, which was founded in 1891. Nevertheless, Craigellachie is almost unknown.
Original bottlings are almost non-existent, which is actually very incomprehensible, but this whiskey is praised in the highest tones of the critics.
"Craigellachie I always prefer The Macallan ... If you get this whiskey for sale, take as much as you can carry, its strength lies in the creamy softness, the oiliness that sticks to the palate, so that on the long, sweet malt taste followed by a deliciously smoky finish. "
