Compass Box was founded in 2000 by John Glaser.
The idea of creating a whiskey to the taste of the customer is as simple as it is ingenious.
Compass Box Whiskeys are Blends and Vatted Malts and Grains!
The bottlings are without exception small runs, so-called "small batches".

Compass Box buys self-selected barrels of various distilleries and combines whiskeys, as you know it from any conventional blend or Vatted.

The results are impressive, with many critics and journals praising Compass Box as the most innovative whiskey blender in Scotland.
At the "International Wine & Spirit Competition" the blend "Asyla" won gold!

Asyla
Asyla is a soft, sweet and malty whiskey.
The Blend consists of 50% Grain Whiskey of the major Grain Distillery Cambus and 50% Malt Whiskey of the distilleries Linkwood, Cragganmore and Glen Elgin.

The age of the whiskey is between 10 and 12 years.

Tasting Notes:
Vanilla, malty, delicate fruit flavors with a wonderful sweetness, soft on the palate.

Hedonism
Hedonism is a Vatted Grain Whiskey, sweet, vanilla, toffee and cocoa flavors.
The selected grain whiskeys vary from batch to batch, but there is always a percentage of old whiskey from the great grain distillery cambus included.
Some of the barrels used are up to 25 years old.

The age of the whiskey is between 10 and 25 years.

Hedonism is the only Vatted Grain Whiskey on the market!

The Spice Tree
The Spice Tree is a deliciously spicy, rich Vatted Malt Whiskey.
The Vatted is a pure Highland Malt, four top distilleries, including Dailuaine and Teaninich, make this malt a real top whiskey.

The age of the whiskey is at least 10 years.

Tasting Notes:
A natural, deep mahogany color and a rich nose with spices such as cinnamon, cardamom and clove - but also sweet fruit compote, nougat and caramel.
Sweet, soft and rich on the palate, with beautiful maltiness and fruits.

The Peat Monster
A Vatted Malt, consisting of malts from Caol Ila and Ardmore.
A real smoke and peat bomb that truly deserves the name "Monster".
The age of the whiskey is between 10 and 15 years.

Tasting Notes:
Thick, smoky and peaty aroma reminiscent of smoked bacon or a campfire by the sea.
In the taste very malty and earthy notes.

Eleuthera
Eleuthera is a Vatted Malt, smoky and very rich in flavor.
For this Vatted whiskeys of the distilleries Caol Ila and Clynelish were married!
