Since 1960, Glendronach is owned by Teacher & Sons - and so the malt also plays an important role in the teacher's blends.
Glendronach's 15-year-old is a highland malt made only from sherry casks.
Meanwhile, the 15-year-old is no longer bottled and also the sherry barrel share has fallen sharply.
The replacement for the 15-year-old is a 12-year-old sherry u. Bourbon barrels.
