Traigh Bhan (gäl. "singing beach") is a 19-year-old limited bottling from the Islay distillery Ardbeg. Aged in American Oak and former Oloroso- Sherry Casks became the Batch No. TB/03-10.10.01/21.BL bottled in a limited Edition in 2021. Nose: soft wood smoke and sea air, plus pine resin, aniseed, toffee and the sweet scent of lilies - citrus fruits and some cayenne pepper, followed by waxy aromas, charcoal, some sherry and linseed oil Taste: rich and tasty with notes of sweet smoke, tarry ropes and toffee Syrup - then ash, aniseed and caramelized brown sugar, roasted walnuts and spicy notes Finish: long and leisurely in the finish with notes of bitter almonds, again linseed oil, with cloves, pepper and moist ash
