Edradour's tamped Ballechin Single Malt Whiskey - this 12 year old bottling was distilled on April 15, 2004 and matured on the 7th of February 2017 in a former port wine barrel. Aroma: clearly the Port wine with aromas of ripe, dark fruits, in addition raisins - above all floats warm wood smoke and peat smoke Taste: The dark fruits bear the rich, full-bodied taste - next to it develop nutty notes, moist leather and peat smoke Finish: long on the finish - warming and soft with fruity notes
