For 42 years, this single malt matured in an exOloroso sherry cask - the result is a very dark, smoky whiskey with lots of character.

Aroma: reminds at the beginning of old cognac, then juicy rum raisins, some sulfur and dusty wood, wax and suede - strong cocoa and strong black tea with fresh green pepper - in the background chimney ashes and soot
Taste: luscious and full-bodied in the taste - now dark chocolate, roasted almonds, plums marinated in port wine, chilli spice and some sea salt and marzipan - followed by dry smoke and the crust of a burnt black bread
Finish: Eternally long finish - oily, smoked ham and notes of a strong cigar and intense black tea
