A 23-year-old Bunnahabhain from Scotland's whiskey island Islay - lots of fruit, lots of sea and some wood make this single-cask bottling from Wemyss to a true treat!
Aroma: lush and fresh - clearly pomegranate juice and red currant jelly, pressed cranberry juice and summery fruit with toffee
Taste: a cocktail of red fruits - rhubarb and sea salt - then come earthy honey notes and warm wood panned in sweet smoke
Finish: warm finish with hints of menthol and sweet wood
Single-barrel filling - edition of 302 bottles
