The selected Hogshead keg produced 280 bottles after over 15 years of storage.
The result is a powerful and spicy Clynelish!
Aroma: wonderfully soft fruity sweetness of mirabelle, cherry and apricot, plus honey, herbs and some white pepper
Taste: lots of sweetness, smoke and herbs, very complex - a powerful yet velvety soft malt whiskey with a touch of fresh oak
Finish: long and soft finish with lots of sweetness and again the spicy oak
A little bit of water makes it almost more powerful, but also sweeter and a bit more peppery - exciting!

Eine satte üppige, kraftvoll-wuchtige Fruchtbombe.
Im Mund zusätzlich zur satten Gartenfrucht auch auch deutlich pfeffrige Schärfe, Ingwer. Alkohol ist spürbar, aber in den satten Körper gut integriert.
