A 14-year-old Ardbeg, matured in former Oloroso sherry casks.
Just two barrels were bottled ...
The result is an "Islay dream" of a Scotch whiskey: smoke and peat dominate this single malt, complemented by the fruity notes of ripe dark berries, raisins and spices harmoniously matched with the sweet peat that makes Ardbegs whiskeys.
Too rarely are there such bottlings!
