Compass Box was founded in 2000 by John Glaser.
The idea of creating a whiskey to the taste of the customer is as simple as it is ingenious.
Compass Box Whiskeys are Blends and Vatted Malts and Grains!
The bottlings are without exception small runs, so-called "small batches".
Compass Box buys self-selected barrels of various distilleries and combines whiskeys, as you know it from any conventional blend or Vatted.
The results are impressive, with many critics and journals praising Compass Box as the most innovative whiskey blender in Scotland.
At the "International Wine & Spirit Competition" the blend "Asyla" won gold!

Canto Cask 20
Canto Cask 20 is a filling of the new series of Compass Box, which contain only single barrel fills in barrel size.
The single barrel that is bottled is a vatting of just a handful of single malt whiskeys,
The barrels used for ripening are assembled by Compass Box from individual drum parts, the wood is previously "toasted" over flame.

The result is a whiskey, rich in vanilla and toffee flavors.
All Compass Box fillings are not cool filtered and have no dyes.
