Gordon & MacPhail is probably the most important independent bottler in Scotland.
Gordon & MacPhail has vast stocks of barrels from almost all distilleries, the stored vintages date back to the 30s.
The most famous series by Gordon & MacPhail is the Connoisseurs Choice with over 40 different bottlings.
There is also a Cask Strength series and bottlings under the name Spirit of Scotland and Speymalt.
One thing all the bottlings have in common is the very high, excellent quality.

Secret Stills - Distillery No. 02 - Release no. 02 - Speyside 1966 - 2006
The latest series, "Secret Stills," by Gordon & MacPhail, was born out of necessity.
Gordon & MacPhail would like to fill old, excellent barrels of various distilleries as single malt.
As was the case with all independent bottlers, Gordon & MacPhail also requested permission to list the distillery name on the bottling.
The times seem to have changed, because this request was denied - and so Gordon & MacPhail may indicate on these bottlings only the region and the place of origin of the malts.
With this filling, the guessing is a bit harder because on the back label reads, "... from a distillery built on the Ballindalloch Castle Estate, in the heart of Speyside" - Glenfarclas?
