Talisker is the only distillery on the island of Skye.
The whiskey with the extraordinary strength of 45,8% vol. in Scotland is considered perfect for warming up or for fresh days outdoors.

The distillery was built in 1831 and 1832, 1925 it became part of the DCL Empire and thus came later to UDV.

For this limited special bottling for the 175th anniversary of the distillery carefully selected barrels, including very old vintages, were married to each other.

The Scots say, "It is iniquity to make this whiskey weaker or even to dilute it with water. You do not sip on this drop, but warm it up to body temperature, and then take a good sip of it. "
