Whisky treasure from Signatory: Clynelish 25 year old 1996/2022 from the Sherry Butt
Signatory Vintage has been bottling exceptional whisky treasures since 1988 and has established itself internationally in the whisky industry in what is a rather short time for the whisky world.
With his bottlings, Andrew Symington makes drops accessible to connoisseurs that usually remain hidden from them.
These include single malts from rare casks that have been matured with great skill for a particularly long time.
From these casks, Signatory has selected the Clynelish 25 year old 1996/2022 Sherry Butt #11382 Signatory Vintage exclusively for Germany.
The characterful single malt is an insider tip.
One of the few distilleries in the northern Highlands that stands for flavors like beeswax, baked apples or seaweed.
Thanks to Signatory's cask expertise, the Clynelish (pronounced petty) matured to deep dark perfection in a former sherry butt.
After 25 years in Andalusian Oak Casks only 473 bottles were bottled with a still strong 52.3%vol. alcohol content in cask strength.
