Carved from the best wood: sumptuous items from the GlenAllachie Wood Finish Series

Studying the influence of casks on single malt whisky is Billy Walker's life's work.
The industry veteran addresses the phenomenon particularly in GlenAllachie's Wood Finish Series.
The series consists of innovative bottlings that the GlenAllachie master blender Billy Walker perfects in puncheons, pipes and the like, often from small producers from all over the world.

The GlenAllachie 13 year old Oloroso Wood Finish was bottled exclusively for the German market.
 
The noble single malt whisky in rich mahogany tone secured classic vanilla and spice notes in first and second fill casks made of American white oak.
Refined in former Oloroso Sherry Puncheons, the dark exclusive bottling spoils the palate with a meaningful, full-bodied flavor profile that underlines the GlenAllachie character with cinnamon and coffee as well as dried and candied fruits.

Nose: Lush aromas of cinnamon, heather honey and roasted coffee beans, along with dried sultanas, mocha and grated coconut
Palate: Hints of syrup-packed figs, followed by caramel brittle, heather honey, cinnamon and candied ginger
