Product information "Amahagan World Malt Edition No. 1 47%vol. 0,7l"
The smallest whisky distillery is located on the largest lake in Japan, Lake Biwa the island nation.
Founded in 2016, Nagahama is part of a new generation of Japanese distilleries - and a consequence of the increasing demand for domestic premium products.
The team around Master Blender Takashi Kiyoi distills the malty raw whiskey spirit on just 26 square meters.
The equipment for this adapts to the space: Nagahama works with the smallest pot stills in Japan.
The alembic stills provide a plus in fullness and depth.

The small craft distillery still does not have enough of its own whisky.
In order to give connoisseurs a foretaste, Nagahama marries the in-house spirit with selected malt whiskys from all over the world.
The result: the Amahagan World Malts.

The blended malt- Series includes four bottlings - each of them with a different Cask finish.
Edition No. 1 a bourbon cask finish after marriage and pampered with notes of orange and apple, classic vanilla and the malty sweetness typical of Nagahama.
