Signatory Small Batch Cask Strength Edition #1 is the first Single Malt Whisky in the exclusive range for the German market in crisp cask strength.
At an impressive 59.9%vol. the dram climbs on the alcohol meter.
It was distilled in the Speyside distillery in Mortlach, known for its multi-dimensional Whiskys.
Already complex in the system, the Whisky was able to develop in eight years of maturation in a very well-selected Cask Selection.
At least three Casks are always used. Accordingly, the first Cask Strength Edition matured in two refill Hogsheads and a Sherry Butt.

The result: a multi-layered Single Malt that seduces with honey sweetness, nuts and sponge cake in the nose, sweet and full on the palate creates an amazingly creamy, mild mouthfeel before it fades away with tangy orange zest, maple syrup and a slightly tart note of black tea.

Nose: light and dark grapes with warm honey sweetness and nutty tones, with notes of milk chocolate, sponge cake and lemongrass
Taste: very sweet and full - peaches, cooked apples and ripe plums, then meaty - trail mix and some coconut - creamy mouthfeel and surprisingly mild for a cask strength
Finish: Remaining for a long time with grated orange peel, maple syrup and black tea
