Signatory filled 668 bottles of this 24-year-old Tomintoul from 1995.
Distilled on May 1st, 1995, the single malt first matured for 24 years in an exBourbon hogshead, after which the whiskey was aged for a further three and a half years in matured in a first-fill former sherry cask and finally bottled in the Cask Strength Collection on December 11, 2019.
Nose: ripe peaches and wheat pastry, with lemon zest and freshly cut grass
Taste: creamy in taste with mild honey and soft chocolate - behind it brown cane sugar
Finish: surprisingly spicy in the long finish, plus a slight sweetness
