Oban is one of the last distilleries still located in a city center.
In the midst of the small harbor town of Oban - in the western Highlands - with the low Victorian buildings, lies the very small distillery with the old brick smoke.
In contrast to the 14-year-old, this malt was given an additional ripening in a Montilla-Fino-barrel, which gives the whiskey an additional sweetness.
